The design of a showroom for display of readymade kitchen furniture, bathroom sanitary ware and related fittings was awarded to us by our clients.
Kohler is a brand known for its quality in the premium segment for kitchen and bath fittings. The 4000 sq. ft. showroom space was designed to display a wide number of products.
The design theme was to create focus for each product allowing visual continuity.
While each product demands special attention, the layout was generated and detailed keeping in mind the company formats.
The play of material along with light and contrast lends this space a very crisp and clear feel and encourages one to experience the showroom with delight.
Kitchen world is dominated by women and the bath world is also more personal, hence clean finish and precise detailing is the necessity. Smart layouts and easy maintenance are of prime importance.
At Kohler, Ahmedabad the space is a tribute to the same requirements. Each kitchen is spatially laid out to offer an independent view. The contrast in floor and ceiling modulates each space into a distinct alcove.
The bath division is elevated and ensures a distinct feel. The transitions of light and materials makes it more convenient to focus on each product without getting over served with visual jumble. So one breathes easily and moves gradually to make a right choice.
