This 4000 sq. yds. plot has an indirect entry from the main road. As a residential apartment building, the site conditions and building regulations were prominent aspects which dictated many design decisions.
This ten storey building has four 250 sq.yds. apartments on each floor. The building is wrapped with an additional layer of parallel walls at a distance of about 1.5 feet from the building walls to create shade on the room walls. The space between the two layers of walls alllows space to place the air conditioning units. The service units are hidden with vertical grills so that drying of clothes can be taken care of without covering up the facade.
