This plot is on the main road with medium traffic flow. An electric pole of low voltage runs parallel to the plot. The plot posed a challenge to design as the linear dimensions are parallel to the road and the depth is very less.
A slim area was available for construction.
The young client, had many requirements to be fulfilled; all amenities like work out space, home theatre, study facility, Three bedrooms with attached dressing area, living space , kitchen with dining, family lounge and terrace which could be used during summer evenings.
The challenge was to fulfill the clients need and give them a comfortable living space.
The concept is focused to create punctures and break the scale in vertical and horizontal planes. Small cut outs are interwoven with the spaces to enrich the experience. Most of the spaces are also provided with indirect openings into the vertical cut outs or semi open spaces.
