A plot of 33475 sq. yds. was abutting a very unorganised development on all sides except its west side from which the river Sabarmati flows at a distance of about one km. A part of the plot abuts to the farms between the river and the site. The idea was to give openness to all the residents and hence the builders agreed to leave more open space on ground and go vertical. The requirement was to provide 1 BHK, 1.5 BHK , 2 BHK and 2.5 BHK type options in the scheme. The expectation was to create a live space for all age groups and hence open spaces for all age groups were designed in the layout. A community space for indoor activities, temples and large gardens for different functions are planned for the residents. Small balconies characterise the elevations which make the facade more participatory to the shared volume. Though the scale and density is high the facade is modest and simple. Large and wide cross ventilated passages inside the apartments allow for the spill over activities and promote sharing in the community.
